Promoting young talent in the skilled trades Wölfle DO SOMETHING!
The shortage of skilled workers is also affecting skilled trades, making it all the more important to inspire young people to pursue skilled trades. For this reason, Wölfle GmbH from Ochsenhausen enthusiastically participated in the nationwide "MACH WAS!" (Do Something!) craft competition – an initiative of Würth under the patronage of the Modern Crafts Campaign.
As part of this competition, Wölfle sponsored the Ochsenhausen Secondary School. Together with dedicated teachers and motivated students, they implemented a craft project that not only enabled practical work but also fostered team spirit, creativity, and genuine interest in modern crafts.
For this commitment, Wölfle has now officially received a certificate recognizing the successful cooperation and active contribution to promoting young talent in the skilled trades.
"It's very important to us to show young people early on the exciting career paths that skilled trades offer today. As a training company, we don't just want to hire fully qualified professionals – we want to train, inspire, and support them," says Anna Gleinser, Training Manager at Wölfle.
Nurturing Young Talent – Shaping the Future
Participation in "MACH WAS!" (Do Something!) demonstrates the importance of strong partnerships between schools and companies. Practical relevance, insights into real work processes, and tackling the issue together not only strengthen career orientation but also foster appreciation for skilled trades.
We would like to thank the Ochsenhausen Secondary School, the Würth initiative, and, of course, all the students who participated with enthusiasm.
Wölfle is making a difference. For young talent. For skilled trades. For our future.
