An especially demanding development project was the new design of a crew compartment cooling system for a military vehicle.

The technical challenge consisted of reliably operating three evaporator units within a single refrigerant circuit. Particularly in such multi-circuit systems, the uniform distribution of the refrigerant and stable oil circulation are among the most complex tasks in refrigeration system development.

If these processes do not function reliably, the cooling capacity drops significantly. At the same time, the load on the entire system increases. Especially in protected military vehicles, hydraulics, electrical components, and other units generate high heat loads that must be reliably dissipated.

Based on our many years of experience in the field of thermal systems, we developed a completely new crew compartment cooling system specifically tailored to the requirements of military applications. The result is a robust and reliable system solution that continuously delivers its performance even under extreme operating conditions.
