Educational partnership - Ochsenhausen High School Wölfle Company honors young IT talents at the high school

As part of their educational partnership, the Ochsenhausen-based company Wölfle and the high school have awarded a prize for the second time. The company has established the "Wölfle Prize" for young talents in seventh grade. This year, the new award was presented to eight young people at an awards ceremony at the school. Fabian Sontheimer, Moritz Abrell, Linda Hagmann, Franciszek Bula, Vivaan Sharma, Vitalji Sholokov, Saskia Ludescher, and Lukas Wieland were delighted to receive the Wölfle Prize. The seventh-graders achieved the highest scores in the nationwide "Informatics Beaver" competition, in which all seventh-graders at the school participate.

"We are delighted to be able to honor young talents with the Wölfle Prize for the second time and to highlight the importance of computer science in the working world of today and tomorrow," said Anna Gleinser, who presented the awards on behalf of the company. This type of cooperation is a great benefit for both the school and the students, added headmistress Elke Ray. "We are delighted to be able to award this prize for the second time and, through our partnership, to further emphasize the relevance of everyday school life for life after school. With the Wölfle Prize, we have created additional motivation for the subject of computer science." Starting next school year, the school will place even greater emphasis on computer science due to the transition to a nine-year Gymnasium (grammar school). It will be taught in every school year in the future.
