Employee Story Rolf Binanzer, Head of Metal Construction Can’t do? Won't do!

My name is Rolf Binanzer and I live in Hattenburg with my wife and two sons. With my 35 years with the company, I am almost part of the inventory. After completing my training as a sheet metal worker in the Otterbacher Karosseriefabrik, I completed my basic military service in the German Armed Forces. Then I worked for 1.5 years at Liebherr in Ochsenhausen before I switched to Wölfle in 1984. A few years later I decided to take the Industrial Foreman exam and in 2001 I became head of the department for Heating/Air Conditioning and Metal Construction. The company continued to grow and in 2009 we were able to move into the new production hall, in which I am now responsible for the metal construction area. My hobby is soccer. I played as an active player at SV Ochsenhausen for many years and coached the youth teams until 2015. Today I take care of the passport management of the youth department of the club on a voluntary basis.

Every Wölfle product is a special product that is tailored to the special requirements and space conditions of the respective customer. In order to be able to implement these wishes competitively in small and medium quantities, metal production covers a wide range of work steps. In addition to all types of profiles and materials, all thicknesses are processed. This includes laser cutting, punching, edging, pressing, sawing, drilling, spot welding, MIG/MAG welding and powder coating. Our team of almost 40 employees produces parts for all production departments such as console mounting, electronics, conveyor belt installation, cab construction and also for our subsidiary plants in the Czech Republic and Morocco. To support the existing work steps in metal processing, more and more machines and robots are being used, in keeping with “Industry 4.0”.

With a view to the future and the existing shortage of skilled workers, we train our own skilled workers in the professions of Production Mechanic, Construction Mechanic and Plant and Machine Operator.
Six trainees are currently completing their training in various professions in our training workshop.
