Engineering Offering complete solutions

Our particular strength lies in engineering. The foundation is our more than 45 years of industry knowledge and the four product areas. Innovation plays a central role for us and is the basis for the added value of our products. The task of our engineers is not just to develop solutions, but rather a dynamic process in which the experiences from many projects are combined and in which our customers are intensively involved.

The aim is a tailor-made product solution that will lead our customers to success beyond the start of series production. Which tasks can we solve for you? Please ask us.

Software Tomorrow's solutions

The perfect and modern work machine depends on many factors. In addition to new and innovative technologies, it is above all intelligent control systems whose software significantly improves the functions of the individual components: from intuitive operating systems or the perfect combination between heating/air conditioning unit and the air conditioning model to safety functions.

In order to support short development cycles, the high-level software development is based on models based on MATLAB®/Simulink® and using standard operating systems such as Autosar® or Codesys®.

Tools:

  • Codeworrier
  • Keil
  • Multisim®
  • MATLAB® / Simulink®

Languages:

  • C, C++, C#, Assembler, Java
  • STEP 7, Codesys, Logo

Operating systems:

  • Autosar® (up to 4.3)
  • OSEK-NM
  • Windows Compact CE
  • Wölfle OWN

Protocols:

  • UDS, XCP, FireCan, CANopen, J1939
  • Customer protocols: Liebherr, WirtgenGroup, Ford, Ziegler, Linde,…

Construction From the concept to the finished product

We offer a wide range of development and construction services. We support our customers, depending on their needs, from the concept to the finished product. At the end of the process, there can be a single component, such as a heating/air conditioning system, a driver's door or a completely removed driver's cab - depending on requirements.

  • Concept development
  • Construction and development of steel or aluminium construction, interior and exterior components for cabs, heating/air conditioning housings and air ducts, plastic injection moulded housings
  • Construction of tools, devices, test benches and assemblies
  • Precision mechanics
  • Thermodynamics
  • Hydraulics
  • Static and dynamic calculations (e.g. structure, strength ...)
  • Flow simulation (e.g. CFD, mould flow ...)
  • Tolerance analysis
  • Mechanical tests and verification
  • Integration of components and electronic parts

Hardware Development for the machine of the future

Electronics development can consist of analogue, digital and program-controlled circuits including digital or analogue signal processing. The newly emerging systems are rounded off by modern and above all effective microcontrollers.

This is how we create the basis for the individual solution: Hardware for the control systems of the most varied of components, from complex vehicle control units to the control of simple components such as actuators for windows.

Circuit development:

  • Analogue and digital circuits
  • Power electronics
  • Programmable logic
  • Integration of microcontrollers and digital signal processors

Testing

One of the most important processes during product development is testing. Here the products have to prove their practical capability under stressful conditions. Extreme temperatures, strong impacts, electrical loads and radiation or misuse are just as much a part of the tests as functional testing.

In recent years we have repeatedly invested in our experiments and can now fall back on a wide range of equipment. Should this not be enough, we can fall back on numerous partners who provide us with active support, e.g. with crash tests.

Laboratory equipment:

  • Vehicle climate chamber for vehicles up to 9 m wide and 4 m high. Motor operation possible. Sun simulation
  • Climate rooms and chambers for climate test (change and shock)
  • Salt spray test chamber
  • Vibration and shock test
  • EMC equipment
  • Component test benches
  • Electrical laboratory equipment such as power supplies up to 1000 V DC and 10 kW
  • Network and bus analyser for CAN and LIN
  • LIN and CAN Compliance Tester
  • Various measuring devices for voltage, current, temperature, gas and fluids

Industrial engineering

This is where it goes into production. In addition to the perfect development of a product, it is just as important and decisive to transfer the created product into production. In addition to the focus on feasibility, quality and production efficiency are in the foreground, especially in industrial engineering. Ultimately, a product has to be delivered to our customers in reproducible quality and functionality.

In industrial engineering, all manufacturing methods and processes are checked and applied in such a way that production can be carried out optimally. Not only are the internal processes taken into account here, but also the processes of the upstream suppliers and those of the external service providers.
