Company History Wölfle GmbH

Over 40 years Wölfle has been active in the field of automotive engineering. The company was founded in 1972.  Since then the product range continuously expanded and new product categories have been launched.

The company´s history is still very active and we are sure far from being at the end. We will continuously present further successful milestones in the future.

1972
Foundation of Wölfle as workshop for cars.

1975
Extension of product range by building a new production line for roof hatches for construction equipment.

1982
 Establishment of new product sector Electric systems. Cable manufacturing and assemblies, wiring harnesses, control and dash panels for construction and agriculture business.

1983
Establishment of new product sector HV/AC systems. Development and production of HV/AC systems for OEM and aftermarket.

1986
Establishment of new product sector Electronic systems. Development and production of electronic controls, displays and control panels for off Highway applications.

1994
Extension of product range as one stop-shop. Development and production of driver stations, inclunding electrics, electronics, HV/AC system and steelwork.

1995
Foundation of Wölfle Vertriebs GmbH. Extension of product range as a trading company and logistic provider for automotive and non automotive parts.

In addition Wölfle Vertriebs GmbH took over the whole spare part responsibility and retrofit solutions such as protective ventilation systems and dust filtration systems.

1996
Foundation of Wölfle s.r.o. in the Czech Republic. Manufacturing site for electrical systems, HV/AC systems and sheet metal working.

1999
Extension of product range as a system supplier for Plug & Play cabs.

2008
Grand opening of new production facility with 7.500m² and a production capacity of 5000 cabs.

Development of new automatic HV/AC generation with climatic models for Off Highway applications.

2009
Introduction of new ABAS ERP Software in combination with reorganization of processes and procedures.

2010
Introduction of Lean Management for all product areas and sites.
